It’s true our planet is facing more and more disasters than ever before but this is already something that God inspired bible writers to warn this final generation about. So an increase in disasters should come as no surprise.

Truth is, if all these predictions of doomsday were true there is no chance that any of us world survive so why raise these alarms anyway? There is nothing that we could do to save ourselves if these were true and sadly there would be no one alive to tell the story.

I will tell you this much. No man can predict the end of our world. How do I know this? Because the bible says so. In Matthew 24 Jesus responds to the disciples request for signs of his return at the end of age.

He first warns them to not be deceived and gives vivid details about the signs of the end of time. Some of these signs include wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, famines, and mysterious changes in the sun, moon and stars. For instance he says that the sun will be blackened, the moon will not give light and the stars will fall from the sky. These are all signs of the end time.

A lot of these signs we are experiencing today. But here is the verse that gives me comfort when I read about all these theories proclaiming the end of our world.

“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Matthew 24:36

The end our world as we know it only comes when Jesus Christ returns and since he clearly states that no one knows the day or the hour rest assured all the publishers on the web cannot predict this day.

Will disasters hit? They sure will and you can be prepared for those when they come. This is the only reason I endorse the 2012 Survival Guide. I wish it was just named the disaster survival guide but be that as it may it is certainly the most comprehensive guide on survival that I have ever read. Whatever disasters hit, you can rest assured that you can be prepared and your family can be prepared because you took the time to do so.

Other than that I encourage you to invest some time to read God’s word and prepare for his soon return and forget all the hype surrounding 2012 conspiracy theories that you have no business worry about.

Every moment before the storm hits we review our survival checklist just to make sure that we have not left anything out and make last minute trips to the grocery store to get things that I won’t classify as much needed items. That’s the nature of these things we want to know everything about the event and prepare as much as we could beforehand.

Once the rains and the winds start however, we don’t pay any mind to the warnings that went before. Of course we are happy that we were warned and even happier that we took steps to prepare but once you’re in the eye of a hurricane all you care about is survival. When your family and friends get swept into it and get hurt the only goal is to make sure they live.

This is the approach that I have taken with the 2012 predictions. Of course the forecast is worse than any ol’ hurricane that ever hit the Florida or any part of the world for that matter but the principle remains the same. Pay attention to the rumblings but remember you have to prepare and learn the techniques to keep your family alive.
