2012 Survival Guide

What’s going on with all the conspiracy theories and talk about the world coming to an end in December 2012? I am sure that you have read them, from Planet X to the Mayan Calendar coming to an end, publishers everywhere are sprouting these theories and in some cases scaring the living daylights out of the innocent.

It’s true our planet is facing more and more disasters than ever before but this is already something that God inspired bible writers to warn this final generation about. So an increase in disasters should come as no surprise.

Truth is, if all these predictions of doomsday were true there is no chance that any of us world survive so why raise these alarms anyway? There is nothing that we could do to save ourselves if these were true and sadly there would be no one alive to tell the story.

I will tell you this

Have you ever experienced a natural disaster? After living for more than 6 years in South Florida I have experienced my fair share of hurricanes. Each time the warnings come over and over on the television and my family and friends alike stay glued to the television and internet sites trying to get the latest updates.

Every moment before the storm hits we review our survival checklist just to make sure that we have not left anything out and make last minute trips to the grocery store to get things that I won’t classify as much needed items. That’s the nature of these things we want to know everything about the event and prepare as much as we could beforehand.

Once the rains and the winds start however, we don’t pay any mind to the warnings that went before. Of course we are happy that we were warned and even happier that
